The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ gained prominence in leaked images released one day before the official launch. The smartphone will be presented this Thursday with specifications that reinforce its position in the mid-high range of the market. The renders reveal a curved design, large capacity battery and robust camera array, consolidating Motorola’s commitment to innovation within the Edge 70 series.

Curved Design returns with multiple color options

The leaked images indicate that the Edge 70 Pro+ recovers the curved display, after the Motorola adopted flat screens in recent models in the line. The device appears in five finishing variations, each with distinct visual characteristics. The rear camera module maintains a square shape and centralized positioning at the top, with thin edges around the screen completing the construction.

6.8-inch Tela AMOLED with 144 Hz

The panel measures 6.8 inches and uses AMOLED technology with 1.5K resolution. The refresh rate of 144 Hz promises fluidity in browsing, gaming and content consumption. Maximum brightness reaches 5,200 nits, ensuring good visibility even in outdoor environments with lots of sunlight. Protection is made with Gorilla Glass 7i, offering resistance against impacts and scratches.

The curved format divides opinions among users. Alguns value the visual immersion and aesthetic appeal that the curvature provides. Outros prefer flat screens due to the greater durability of the protective films and less risk of damage to the sides of the device.

Câmeras with Sony LYTIA 710 sensor

The rear configuration includes a 50-megapixel main sensor with the Sony LYTIA 710 component. A 50-megapixel ultrawide lens also complements the system. Renders suggest the presence of an additional sensor with approximately 3.5x optical zoom, offering versatility in different photography scenarios. The set features a 3-in-1 light sensor for better image processing. The front camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels in some projections.

Processador Dimensity 8500 Extreme and robust battery

The MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor equips the device, accompanied by up to 12 gigabytes of LPDDR5X type RAM. A 4,600mm² vapor chamber cooling system maintains thermal stability during heavy tasks, intensive gaming, and prolonged multitasking. The 6,500 mAh battery uses silicon-carbon technology, offering greater energy density. Wired charging reaches 90 watts, allowing for quick top-ups. Há also supports 5-watt reverse charging to assist other devices.

Software updated and durability certifications

The Edge 70 Pro+ leaves the factory with an updated Android and Hello UX interface from Motorola. The company promises at least three major operating system updates and up to five years of security fixes, ensuring software longevity. The smartphone receives IP68 and IP69 certifications, ensuring resistance against dust and submersion in water. Há also has MIL-STD-810H military approval for extreme conditions, positioning the model as a durable and reliable option in the upper-intermediate segment.

This Thursday’s official presentation event should confirm all specifications, memory variations, storage options and regional prices. The expectation is that the Pro+ will differentiate itself from the Edge 70 Pro through significant improvements in hardware and software, consolidating Motorola’s strategy of offering robust alternatives to the premium smartphone market.
