British Royal Artillery soldier dies after serious fall from horse at Royal Windsor Horse Show

A member of Tropa from Rei from Artilharia Real to Cavalo lost his life after suffering a serious fall during an official presentation at the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show event, held last Friday. The incident occurred around 7pm, British Summer Time, the exact moment the soldier was leaving the main exhibition arena after completing his participation. Emergency teams and paramedics on duty provided immediate medical care at the scene of the accident, quickly applying first aid, but the soldier suffered extremely serious injuries that resulted in his death shortly afterwards.

The fatality momentarily interrupted the schedule of the traditional equestrian event, which is one of the most important on the Reino Unido calendar, attracting thousands of spectators and frequently attended by members of high royalty. The accident area was promptly isolated by security teams to ensure the uninterrupted work of rescuers and the immediate start of standard investigation procedures, strictly required in incidents of this nature involving military personnel in full force.
