Samsung will finally expand the catalog of applications integrated into Now Bar with the launch of Android 17 and the One UI 9. The change comes through the new Metric Style of Live Updates announced by Google at the I/O 2026 conference, which allows you to display information on cards updated in real time on the lock screen and notifications area.
