Botafogo defeats Caracas 3 x 1 and guarantees the best overall campaign in the South American Championship
Botafogo came up behind on the scoreboard, but achieved a 3-1 victory against Caracas this Wednesday, at the end of the group stage of Sul-Americana, at Venezuela. With the result, the Rio club secured the best overall campaign of the tournament and guaranteed that all knockout games will be played at home, at the Nilton Santos stadium. La Mantía opened the scoring for the hosts, while Chris Ramos, Kauan Toledo and Joaquín Correa scored for Botafogo.
Botafogo suffers, but reacts in the second half
