Geely Lotus officially presented the new Emira 420 Sport, a performance-focused evolution of the 2025 Emira Turbo SE. The model introduces a specialized lightweight package that reduces the vehicle’s weight by 25 kg while generating an additional 25 kg of aerodynamic downforce.

Melhorias aerodynamic and cooling

The exterior design maintains the familiar silhouette of the 2025 model but incorporates significant aerodynamic refinements. The Emira 420 Sport receives an extended front splitter and redesigned side skirts, as well as reworked air intakes that increase airflow to the external radiators by 15% and to the central radiator by 14%.

The rear features a new louvered swing-out door design. Essa configuration improves brake cooling by 10% and increases exhaust valve airflow by 30%. A removable tinted glass roof panel allows drivers to easily switch between coupe and convertible configurations, with storage in a protective bag behind the seats.

Motor and transmission with more power

The Emira 420 Sport maintains the 2.0T engine in mid-engine configuration and rear-wheel drive. Power was increased to 313.2 kW (420 hp), with a maximum torque of 500 N·m, coupled to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Handling control has been improved with a 5mm reduction in ride height and the inclusion of Multimatic bi-directional adjustable shock absorbers. The combination of these changes delivers more precise steering response and improved stability in different track conditions.

Preços and availability

The following points mark the commercial launch:

  • Pré – order open in international markets
  • Preço starting at 122,900 USD
  • Preço estimated for Chinese market at approximately 1,080,000 yuan (158,800 USD)

Interior with visual customizations

The cabin layout remains consistent with the 2025 model, equipped with a digital instrument cluster and 10.25-inch central touchscreen. The vehicle shown highlights the “Hand Painted Pack,” which adds vibrant orange Tangelo accents to the interior, including seat belts, air vents, steering wheel trim, shift knob and center console panels.

Essa personalization approach reflects Lotus’s differentiation strategy in relation to direct competitors in the light sports car segment with mid-engine propulsion.
