Olivia Rodrigo releases full tracklist for new album You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love

Olivia Rodrigo has revealed the full track list for his third studio album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love”, which hits digital platforms on June 12 via Geffen Records. The project follows the structure divided into two thematic sections, organized under the titles “Girl So in Love” and “You Seem Pretty Sad”.

The album has 14 tracks in total. The first section, “Girl So in Love”, brings together songs like “Drop Dead” (previously released), “Bees”, “Maggots for Brains”, “You + Me = <3” and “My Way”. Produção and collaborations

Dan Nigro returns as lead producer, maintaining the partnership that began with “Sour” and continued on “Guts.” Rodrigo worked with the producer again during the creation of the new material, ensuring sonic cohesion with their previous releases.

The album cover features a minimalist aesthetic that served as visual inspiration for the performance on “Saturday Night Live” on May 2. Durante the show, Rodrigo performed “Begged” sitting on a swing, replicating visual elements from the artwork, and also performed “Drop Dead”, which had debuted live on Coachella in April during a surprise appearance at Addison Rae’s show.

Referências musical and creative context

The typography used in the track list shares visual similarities with the aesthetic of The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven”. In an interview with “Elvis Duran Show”, Rodrigo clarified that the British band was not a direct inspiration for the single “The Cure”, despite the nominal coincidences. The artist mentioned considering vocalist Robert Smith a close friend. Ela invited Smith to perform during his set at Glastonbury 2025.

Agenda promotion and tour

Rodrigo announced the new project in early April and has since participated in multiple promotional performances. Além from “Saturday Night Live”, the singer performed on “The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon” and made her debut as a presenter on a television program.
