PlayStation announces State of Play for June 2 with a focus on Marvel’s Wolverine and new games
PlayStation has confirmed a new State of Play for Tuesday, June 2nd at 6pm (Brasília time). The digital event, lasting more than 60 minutes, promises to present news and gameplay for the PlayStation 5 (PS5), with emphasis on “Marvel’s Wolverine”.
The special presentation is part of the Summer Game Fest 2026 week of events, bringing together announcements and revelations from global studios. Além from the Insomniac Games title, there is expectation for other game announcements for the PlayStation 5, promising a wide range of surprises for players.

Those interested will be able to follow State of Play live on the official PlayStation channels on YouTube and Twitch. Watch Para, simply access the platforms through websites or applications on devices such as cell phones, consoles, smart TVs and Fire TV Stick. The broadcast page is now active and offers the option to activate notifications for the start of the event, which will be conducted in English.

Expectativas for new releases and gameplays
A post on the official PlayStation Blog indicates special attention to “Marvel’s Wolverine” by Insomniac Games. The action-adventure game, exclusive to PS5, is scheduled for release on September 15th, and State of Play should reveal new gameplay, delving deeper into the mutant’s combat systems and mechanics.
Outro’s eagerly awaited title is “MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls”, the next fighting game from Arc System Works, which is scheduled to debut on August 6th. The gaming community is also betting on the presence of “Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet”, “FairGame$”, “Horizon Hunters Gathering” and a DLC for “Resident Evil: Requiem”, which do not yet have confirmed release dates.
