Samsung has completed the distribution of the One UI 8.5 interface update, which improves the user experience. After the beta program started in December for the Galaxy S25 line, the process gained speed with the launch of the stable version with the Galaxy S26 series. The previous month, the manufacturer also released the update for older models and officially ended delivery for 44 different Galaxy devices. With the inclusion of the Galaxy A15, the company fulfilled its initial commitment to offer software support for all announced devices.
Samsung has officially released the One UI 8.5 update for all 44 devices it had confirmed earlier. The process started with the Galaxy S25 series has reached the final stage with the update of the Galaxy A15 model.
The list of devices included in the update has been expanded.
The One UI 8.5 update stands out as an optimization process that covers a wide range of Samsung products. Many high-end devices, such as the Galaxy S series, the Z family foldables and the Tab S line tablets, gained access to the new interface features. The fact that A-series devices have also received the update reinforces the company’s commitment to long-term software support.
The company has successfully completed the promised software update for a total of 44 models, following the original schedule.
Support also reaches devices that were not on the official list.
In addition to the officially confirmed devices, models that were not initially expected to receive the update are included. Although Samsung has not made a formal commitment, it has released One UI 8.5 for ten different devices, such as the Galaxy M06, F55 and XCover 7 Pro. This raises expectations that other devices may also gain support.
The distribution of updates varies by region.
The global implementation process continues gradually and does not occur at the same time in all countries. Samsung releases the update in stages for different markets, and the expectation is that more nations will receive the new interface in the coming weeks. Furthermore, although the eligibility of 17 devices is still uncertain, the receipt of the update by unexpected models, such as the Galaxy F54, shows the dynamic nature of the process.
It is recommended that users check whether their devices already have the latest version by checking the Software Update section in the device’s Settings menu. The customization options and performance improvements of the new interface make a practical difference in the routine of Galaxy owners.
