In front of an enthusiastic crowd at Ginásio Nilson Nelson, the team under Bernardinho’s command secured the victory by 3 sets to 1, with scores of 25/21, 23/25, 25/15 and 25/23. The confrontation was marked by the strong offensive performance of Darlan and Adriano, complemented by crucial blocks from Flávio and the efficient distribution of plays by Cachopa. The Iranians returned with more intensity in the second set, opening up an advantage by exploiting the strength of Hajipour, Haghparast and Poriya.
