Opening games confirmed for June 11th
The kickoff is up to Mexico, which hosts South Africa at the Mexico City Stadium (Azteca), at 4pm (Brasília time). Next, South Korea faces the Czech Republic in Guadalajara, at 11pm.
These duels mark the beginning of an unprecedented group stage with 12 groups of four teams each. The first two in each group advance directly, in addition to the eight best third-placed teams, totaling 32 teams in the round of 16.
