Sony announced a series of releases in its game catalog for the month of June 2026, providing PlayStation Plus subscribers with diverse entertainment options.
A new release strategy will be implemented starting this month: users in the United States, United Kingdom and Japan will receive titles progressively, instead of having access to all content simultaneously. This tactic, similar to that employed by Xbox Game Pass, is an initial test in these regions. For other countries, including Brazil, the complete collection of games will be accessible from June 16th.
Among the most anticipated titles for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, Final Fantasy XVI stands out, the renowned RPG from Square Enix, which promises long hours of gameplay. The addition comes at a good time for fans as they await the release of Final Fantasy VII Revelation next year. Another notable RPG that will be part of the catalog is Kingdom Come: Deliverance, offering an action and adventure experience focused on historical reality, without magical elements.
The variety continues with Black Desert, an open world MMORPG developed by Pearl Abyss, deepening the RPG theme. For speed aficionados, Sonic X Shadow Generations will also be part of the news. And for those looking for a more relaxing and strategic experience, Farming Simulator 25 will be available to satisfy their passion for agricultural management.
The popular narrative adventure franchise Life is Strange adds its latest title, Double Exposure, an immersive journey aimed at young adults that explores the intricate idea of time travel. To complete the offerings, Blades of Fire, a new action and adventure game, developed by MercurySteam, known for its work on Castlevania and Metroid Dread, also joins the collection.
Exclusively for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, there is the opportunity to revisit an icon of PlayStation 2 rhythm games: Gitaroo-Man. This classic will be accessible on PS4 and PS5 for the first time, allowing players to enjoy its nostalgic gameplay.
