The Brazilian team faces Haiti this Friday (19), at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), at the Lincoln Financial Field, in Philadelphia, in the second round of Group C of the 2026 World Cup. After the draw in the debut, Carlo Ancelotti must return to the team’s base, but the fans are putting strong pressure on Endrick to join the starting lineup or on the bench.
Probable lineups
Brazil (4-2-3-1):Alisson; Danilo, Marquinhos, Gabriel Magalhães, Douglas Santos; Fabinho (or Casemiro), Bruno Guimarães; Raphinha, Matheus Cunha (or Igor Thiago), Vinícius Júnior.Technical:Carlo Ancelotti.
The formation maintains defensive solidity and exploits the speed of Vinícius Júnior and Raphinha on the flanks. Matheus Cunha or Igor Thiago compete for the position in command of the attack. Endrick, who impressed in training, is the name most requested by the fans to gain minutes and show his eye for goal. Ancelotti has asked for patience with the youngster, but the pressure is growing after the lukewarm result against Morocco.
Haiti (4-4-2):Placide; Arcus, Adé, Delcroix, Expérience; Jean Jacques, Bellegarde, Providence, Deedson; Pierrot, Isidor.Technical:Sébastien Migné.
Haiti should rely on a compact middle block, with Bellegarde as the main articulator and Pierrot as the reference of the attack. The Caribbean team arrives under pressure after a defeat in the first round and tries to surprise with counterattacks.
Fan pressure for Endrick
The Brazilian fans follow the training closely and demand Endrick’s presence more and more. The 19-year-old striker did not start his debut, but has shown quality in recent activities and is seen as an important piece to provide unpredictability to the attack, especially without Neymar, who remains out with a calf injury. Ancelotti recognizes the player’s talent, but prefers to manage his entry little by little.
Vinícius Júnior remains the team’s highlight. With the freedom to play in various positions in the offensive sector, he bears the responsibility of creating and defining plays against the Haitian defense. Raphinha and Bruno Guimarães complete the trio of most creative midfielders.
Group C Context
Brazil needs victory to take the lead in Group C and avoid complications following the group stage. Haiti, at the bottom, is looking for points to stay alive in the fight for places. The duel marks the Seleção’s second commitment in Philadelphia, a stadium that receives a large Brazilian audience.
