Steam Machine starts sales through KOMODO STATION with 512GB and 2TB models
The Steam Machine, a mini PC developed by Valve, is now available for purchase in the Japanese market, marking the expansion of the company’s gaming hardware line in Asia.
The company KOMODO has confirmed its responsibility for marketing Valve’s Steam Machine in the Asian region, with the start of sales in its online store, KOMODO STATION, starting today, June 23, 2026.
The long-awaited arrival of the Steam Machine at retailers
This compact computer runs the SteamOS operating system, sharing similarities with the Steam Deck portable console, and represents a new generation of hardware designed to simplify the Steam platform gaming experience when connected to televisions or monitors. Internally, the device integrates a customized AMD CPU and GPU, with performance equivalent to desktop components, and uses FSR (Full Resolution) technology to deliver games at resolutions of up to 4K with a fluidity of 60 frames per second.
In March 2026, the launch of the device was significantly delayed. The rescheduling to the second half of 2026 was attributed to the shortage of components and the rise in memory and storage costs in the global market, impacting the production chain.

In terms of connectivity, the device has a Gigabit Ethernet port, DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, a USB-C port and four USB-A ports, ensuring versatility for different game configurations. The wireless connection is guaranteed by Wi-Fi 6E 2×2 and Bluetooth 5.3, both with a dedicated antenna, allowing direct and efficient pairing with the Steam Controller. The 2 TB model also stands out for including two interchangeable front panels for customization.
