The coach was satisfied with the performance in the first half of the 3-0 victory over Haiti, but reiterated his desire to see the team with more “intensity and success”, minimizing ball losses.
Ancelotti emphasized the importance of the team showing continuous progress in each match. He stressed that a consistent performance in the next game would position Brazil favorably for the knockout phase of the World Cup. The coach also highlighted the need to replicate the intensity and precision seen in the first stage against Haiti, avoiding mistakes and ball deliveries. “The team shows progress in training, and I trust that we will continue to improve our performance”, said the commander, on the eve of the duel.
For Ancelotti, mastering the actions on the field will be crucial to victory, with a special focus on the quality of the midfield and the efficiency of passing the ball.
