The series *Stranger Things* left a deep mark on viewers around the world, redefining Netflix’s path, and the ending of the narrative is no different. If the work’s conclusion impacted its admirers, the same occurred with its actors. Actress Millie Bobby Brown, known for playing the main character Eleven, expressed her satisfaction with her heroine’s outcome, urging those who do not approve of the conclusion or expect an alternative outcome to “shut up”.
During her recent participation in the renowned program *The Tonight Show*, led by Jimmy Fallon, the artist recalled the grieving process she experienced with the end of the series. She revealed that she chose to wear black throughout the project’s publicity as a symbolic gesture of regret for the character.
“Everyone asks, ‘What’s going to happen?’, and I say, ‘She dies. She dies. She dies. She dies,'” Brown narrated. She added that the topic consumes her. “It’s very complicated, because it’s the only thing that comes to mind, and I wore black throughout the press schedule as a sign of mourning for her.”

When asked by the audience about their belief in the outcome, Brown insisted: “You need to believe. For my mental health, I need to believe. It was immensely challenging to say goodbye to such a remarkable production that transformed my existence forever.”
The star added: “I think it impacted us in a significant way. However, for me, it was essential to have this conviction. If I didn’t believe it, I wouldn’t be able to deal with the goodbye. It exists somewhere”, an understandable feeling after spending almost a decade playing the same iconic character.
During the conversation, Jimmy Fallon raised the issue of fan speculation about the existence of an additional ending, commenting: “And about the ending… They say, ‘It’s not the ending. There is an extra ending.'” To this, Brown reacted sharply: “Oh my God, shut up!”
The plot of *Stranger Things* explores the journey of a group of young people who find themselves involved in government secrets in the quiet town of Hawkins, located in the interior of the United States, in the 1980s.
