The qualifying session is ongoing, with the following updates:
- The British Mercedes driver advanced to fourth place.
- George Russell started a hot lap for the first time, with less than four minutes to go in the session.
- Gabriel Bortoleto is in 11th position, within the elimination area.
- There are only five minutes left until this part of the qualification ends.
- Kimi Antonelli surprised by taking the lead.
- Soon after, Charles Leclerc, from Ferrari, reached the lead, being closely followed by Lewis Hamilton.

This race in Austria is essential to consolidate positions or start a turnaround in the championship, given the scenario of close scores between the first placed.
One of the Formula 1 drivers managed to reverse a punishment imposed by the FIA, thus recovering a podium that had been delayed.
