Improved performance of Grand Theft Auto 6 on PS5 Pro is confirmed and store details improvements
New information reinforces Sony’s strategy for the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6, confirming that the title will offer an optimized experience on PlayStation 5 Pro. The long-awaited game now appears on the PlayStation Store with the designation “PS5 Pro Enhanced”, indicating superior performance on the more robust version of the console.
A Brazilian retailer, Kabum, went further and released specific details about the improvements. According to the store description, players can expect significantly better performance, more stable frames per second (FPS) rates and even sharper visual resolutions when enjoying GTA 6 on PS5 Pro.
However, the console’s advanced technology comes at a high cost. Currently, the PlayStation 5 Pro holds the title of most expensive console on the market, being sold for US$900 in the United States, after a price adjustment in March this year. With the recent news that Microsoft will also increase the prices of its Xbox consoles, there is a real possibility that Sony will promote a further increase in the prices of the PS5 Pro before the release of GTA 6.
PlayStation’s strategy remains clear in positioning the PS5 Pro as the best platform for GTA 6, using the game as one of the main selling points for the console. With the expectation of a launch that will move millions of players globally, Sony is expected to further intensify this campaign in the coming months.
In addition to performance specifications, other retailer listings have revealed possible new features of the game. Among them, the inclusion of an integrated social network stands out, which will allow users to watch viral videos, follow influencers and discover events in the game’s universe directly through the protagonist’s cell phone.
