More than 16,000 fabric dressers, the EnHomee model with nine drawers, which were sold by Walmart across the country, are being recalled due to significant dangers of tipping, entrapment, injuries and even fatalities. The measure aims to protect consumers from potential accidents.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has announced the recall of around 16,809 units of these EnHomee brand fabric dressers. The action is necessary because the items do not meet the strict safety standards mandated for household products.

In a recall statement, the CPSC warned that “affected dressers are unstable if not properly secured to the wall. This creates tipping and entrapment hazards that could cause serious injury or even death to children.” This detail is crucial for parents and guardians who own the product.

The dressers were sold on Walmart.com between September 2023 and March 2026, priced at approximately US$80. The wide sales window indicates that many households may have purchased the product.

Available in different shades such as white, brown, gray and black, the pieces have a metal structure. The variety of colors can make it difficult for consumers to quickly identify them.

Although there are no reports of injuries or incidents related to the product to date, the CPSC is issuing an urgent warning to consumers. It is mandatory that you stop using the dressers immediately and keep them out of the reach of children unless they are firmly anchored to the wall.

To request a full refund, customers must contact RaybeeRecall@outlook.com where they will receive detailed instructions for the process.

Other products affected by recent recalls

  • Thousands of children’s toys sold by Amazon have been recalled because they present a “deadly choking hazard.”
  • Fruit packages distributed by Target and Kroger have been recalled due to concerns about the presence of plastic.
  • A popular allergy medication has had a national recall ordered due to the risk of contamination, which could lead to death.
