Prince Harry seeks rapprochement with King Charles due to fear of bankruptcy, says website
Prince Harry has long expressed his desire to get closer to the royal family. A recent meeting with King Charles, Queen Camilla, Meghan Markle and their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, reignited rumors about a possible financial interest behind the reconciliation, despite the couple’s significant wealth.
Although there is no official confirmation, Harry and Meghan’s joint fortune is estimated at more than $60 million, but speculation persists. Hollywood expert Rob Shuter has pointed out that Prince Harry’s recent criticism of the court, following his legal defeat against the editor of the Daily Mail, could have serious consequences, further fueling these financial narratives.

The legal costs of the process are still pending decision, with estimates that could reach 67 million dollars. Although Harry is not the only one involved and does not have to pay the entire amount, the high amount intensifies the debate about his motivations.
“The point was not that Harry criticized the decision,” said a source close to the palace. “He seemed to question the very integrity of the judicial system. Judges generally don’t react well to this,” the same source added.
“It’s surprising how important family becomes when the bills come in,” said another person familiar with the behind-the-scenes royals. “Harry knows his father is one of the few in the world who could pay such a sum without hesitation. Whether he actually will is another matter.”

Despite speculation, the meeting between father and son, according to reports, was already scheduled even before the court verdict.
“Harry may be asking for forgiveness,” said an insider. “But what he really needs is someone to pay the bill.”

These allegations come after reports that Harry and Meghan are still looking to capitalize on their royal connection. “There is a widespread perception that Harry and Meghan have realized that their greatest asset has always been their association with the Royal Family,” said a source close to the couple.
“As much as they would like to succeed independently, it is their royal status that continues to generate the greatest public interest. Therefore, some in royal circles believe that this new push for more cordial relations is not just about healing old wounds, but also restoring the value of their personal brand after commercially challenging years.”

The same sources point out that Hollywood dynamics do not favor the couple. “There is no escaping the financial reality of the situation. The entertainment industry is extremely competitive, and some of the opportunities that once came easily are no longer available. Many believe that the Sussexes understand the growing importance of maintaining a civil relationship with the monarchy to strengthen their long-term prospects. Whether that motivation is personal, commercial or a combination of both remains a topic of debate within the Palace.”
“Basically, the Sussexes want to return to the royal family because they fear their lifestyle could go bankrupt,” the sources concluded.
