Players who own Ubisoft titles on the Xbox console can now access a significant portion of their collection on personal computers at no extra cost. On July 27, 2026, the developer announced a collaboration with Microsoft to provide free copies of 13 games selected from its catalog.
This initiative, according to the producer, is the result of a strengthened alliance that had previously allowed the inclusion of recent titles such as Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws on the Xbox service for PC. However, the new free copy offer on Connect specifically covers older games from Ubisoft’s catalog.
To redeem the titles, Ubisoft explained that users must have the most up-to-date version of its Connect application installed on their computers. The company also confirmed that Premium editions of games and additional content (DLCs) are part of the offer, although microtransactions or consumable items are not always included.
Ubisoft titles available for free for Xbox players on PC
- Assassin’s Creed Mirage
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
- Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
- Far Cry 6
- Immortals Fenyx Rising
- Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
- Riders Republic
- Skull and Bones
- The Crew 2
- The Crew Motorfest
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
- Watch Dogs Legion
Release of additional copies happens gradually
Microsoft informed that, soon, all the games mentioned will be automatically activated on the Ubisoft Connect platform, as long as they have been previously purchased from the Xbox store. However, this functionality does not apply in reverse; Purchasing a game on PC will not grant a copy for Xbox consoles.
For the process to be effective, it is essential that the accounts of the respective stores are linked and that players use the same identification credentials. The companies also note that some previously made acquisitions may not be recognized immediately; For these cases, the release is occurring in phases and must be completed by August 4, 2026.
Ubisoft also clarified that game progression is not shared across platforms for all titles included in the list. Therefore, if a game does not have a cross-save system, players will need to start their journeys again from the beginning when playing them on PC.
