On August 7, 2026, Honor officially started the closed testing program for its new MagicOS 11 system. This initiative offers an excellent chance for brand enthusiasts to try out the software’s new features before the global launch.

The company’s purpose is to allow a select group of users to explore the features and changes planned for the next major update. As is usual in this type of initial assessment, opportunities are quite restricted and exclusive, with feedback from participants being crucial to refining the system before it is made widely available.

So far, the manufacturer has only opened registrations for the first phase of devices. A total of 17 devices are considered eligible to receive this experimental version, including the Chinese giant’s latest smartphones and tablets.

Honor devices qualified for the first stage of testing

The selection of devices for the debut of MagicOS 11 is extensive, including 17 models in total. The relationship prioritizes high-performance phones and tablets recently launched by the Asian company.

If you have one of the brand’s most recent launches, your chances of participating are high. Below, you can check the complete list of smartphones and tablets that can now compete for the update:

  • Line of foldable devices: Honor Magic V6 and Honor Magic V5
  • Honor Magic 8 series models: RSR Porsche Design, Pro, Pro Air and the basic version
  • Honor Magic 7 series models: RSR Porsche Design, Pro and the basic version
  • Devices in the Honor WIN range: basic WIN, WIN RT and Honor GT Pro
  • Honor 600 series models: Pro, Super Edition and Vitality Edition
  • Tablets: Honor MagicPad 3 Pro and the 12.2-inch Honor MagicPad 3 Pro

Deadlines for applying and securing a spot in the beta program

Honor has imposed a limit of just 2,000 users for each device model, which can be a problem for those who tend to leave registration until the last minute. To apply, the procedure is straightforward: simply access the “My Honor” application, navigate to the “Club” section and submit your application in the testing area.

An important detail to consider before proceeding is that your device must be running firmware version 10.0.0.170; otherwise, the application will be invalidated.

For smartphone users, registration ends on August 11th, with the update expected to arrive by August 18th. For tablets, the period extends until August 21st, and the beta version must be implemented on eligible devices by the end of the month, on August 28th.
