Details of the evaluation stages of the selection process

The selection process will be divided into two main stages: Technical Qualification and Physical Aptitude Exam (EAF). The first phase consists of Objective Tests, eliminatory and classificatory for all positions, and the Discursive Test, exclusive to the Advocacy emphasis, also eliminatory and classificatory. The second phase, the EAF, is eliminatory in nature and aimed at positions in the Sea Staff.

The objective tests will be administered on November 29, 2026, lasting 4 to 5 hours and 30 minutes, depending on the position. The number of questions varies between 50 and 70, covering Specific Knowledge and General Knowledge (Portuguese Language, Mathematics, Maritime Technical English or English Language). For the Advocacy discursive test, candidates must prepare two questions with a case study and technical topic, requiring a minimum score of 50%.

Inclusion and gender parity in Transpetro notices

Transpetro’s notices incorporate important affirmative action policies. There is a reserve of 30% of vacancies for affirmative action policies, distributed as follows: 25% for black people, 3% for indigenous people and 2% for quilombola people. In addition, there are reserved places for People with Disabilities (PwD).

A notable initiative is the gender equality mechanism. The competition seeks to balance the percentage of women (including transvestites, transsexuals or female transgender people) classified for Phase 2, if the percentage is less than 50% in relation to the male group by position/emphasis. This measure focuses on the transition between the phases of the competition, without disqualifying male candidates who are already classified and without removing the minimum technical score required.

How the physical fitness exam works

The Physical Aptitude Exam (EAF) is an eliminatory stage applied to all positions in the Sea Staff. The objective is to evaluate the physical and organic capacity of candidates for the demands of the company’s operational activities and safety routines. The exam consists of two tests:

  • 12 minute run:
  • – Male: minimum distance of 1,800 meters.
    – Female: minimum distance of 1,500 meters.

  • Swimming:
  • – Course of 25 meters in liquid medium (free style), with no time limit.
