Details of the Samsung Galaxy S26 FE with Android 17 leak before launch
Samsung is preparing to reveal new products, and one of the expected highlights is the Galaxy S26 FE. This model, known for bringing cutting-edge features to a more affordable price in the “Fan Edition” line, had its complete technical sheet detailed even before its official launch. The new device will combine the design of the Galaxy S26 series with an updated processor and Android 17 out of the box.
Analysis of the few changes in the new device
Although the cell phone is highly anticipated, the Galaxy S26 FE presents few significant improvements over the previous generation. The screen, for example, remains a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, in addition to a maximum brightness of 1,900 nits.
Internally, the Galaxy S26 FE will come with the Exynos 2500 processor, which has ten cores and can reach a frequency of 3.3 GHz. It will be complemented by 8 GB of RAM and internal storage options of 128 GB or 256 GB. The design will follow the visual identity already established in the other models in the Galaxy S26 line.

For photography, the rear of the Galaxy S26 FE will include a 50 MP main camera, with f/1.8 aperture and optical stabilization. Accompanying it will be an ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture and an 8 MP telephoto camera, which offers 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture.

The front camera will have a 12 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, without autofocus. Differentiating itself from intermediate devices, the smartphone will be capable of recording videos in 8K at 30 frames per second or in 4K at up to 60 FPS. The battery will have a capacity of 4,900 mAh and support fast charging of up to 45 watts.
In terms of connectivity and other features, the Galaxy S26 FE will offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC. It will have two nano-SIM slots and compatibility with up to two eSIMs. The device will also be IP68 certified, guaranteeing resistance to water and dust. The operating system will be Android 17, accompanied by Samsung’s One UI interface.
