Samsung Galaxy S26 receives seventh One UI 9 beta update with Galaxy Z Fold8 features

Samsung launched a new beta version of its One UI 9 system for the Galaxy S26 line on August 28, 2026. This is the seventh test update made available by the brand for the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra models.

With a size exceeding 1.2GB, the One UI 9 Beta 7 update features the firmware version ending in ZZHK. This package brings several improvements to compatible devices.

Even without direct mention in the change log, this beta version incorporates features that Samsung introduced with its Galaxy Z Fold8 series foldable devices. New features include Custom Cards in Now Brief, the My FanCam tool, and unified widgets for Finder and Google Search on the home screen, offering more customization options.

The availability of the One UI 9 Beta 7 update covers users in South Korea, India, Germany, Poland, and the United Kingdom. Those who are already participating in the beta program in these countries and have not yet received the seventh version can check availability manually. Just access your smartphone’s settings, go to “Software update” and look for the new version.
