Manchester City took another step to strengthen its attack by signing striker Iliman Ndiaye, who plays for Everton. The agreement was defined on August 31, 2026.

The arrival of the Senegalese player was sealed by 65 million pounds, equivalent to R$456.43 million.

The total amount includes 60 million fixed pounds (R$421.32 million) and a further 5 million pounds (R$35.11 million) in bonuses linked to performance and future goals.

Ndiaye obtained permission from Everton to travel to Manchester, where he will undergo the necessary medical examinations and then formalize his contract with the new club.

Manchester City intensified its efforts to acquire the player after Liverpool rejected an offer for Cody Gakpo, who was the blue team’s main choice to reinforce the squad.

The African athlete represents yet another addition to the Citizens’ offensive sector, joining the recent arrival of Allan Elias, ex-Palmeiras, whose transfer cost 40 million euros (R$241 million).

On the other hand, the Manchester club also registered departures in this transfer window, including Sávio and Omar Marmoush, who joined Tottenham Hotspur.

Ndiaye spent three seasons playing for Everton, during which time he scored 17 goals in 74 appearances.

In the 2026/27 season, the Senegalese player was present in the two matches played by Everton in the Premier League so far, facing Crystal Palace and Bournemouth.
