PlayStation will hold two consecutive State of Play presentations, offering a variety of new game announcements. Streams will be available to the public starting at 9 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on September 3. Interested parties will be able to follow the events live through the official channels on YouTube and Twitch. An option with English subtitles will also be available on YouTube for global audiences.
The first State of Play event will be a broader showcase, highlighting releases from PlayStation Studios and Sony partner developers on a global scale. Among the highlights, Square Enix will display “an expanded view of the vast world of Final Fantasy VII Revelation”, promising more details about the highly anticipated title. Next up will be State of Play Japan, focused on news from Asian game creators.
Although the presentation brings more information about the conclusion of the Final Fantasy VII remake trilogy, Sony has remained secretive about other announcements. The event is expected to include reminders about the release of Marvel’s Wolverine and the availability to purchase or pre-order new PlayStation accessories like the wireless monitor and speakers.
