Salah failed to answer two separate court notices delivered to his English home and never formally identified the driver behind the wheel.
Magistrates at Warrington Magistrates’ Court convicted the 34-year-old athlete in his absence during the court hearing. The case addressed a violation that occurred on an urban road with a designated speed limit of 30 miles per hour, which equals approximately 48 kilometers per hour.
Judicial authorities ordered an immediate fine of 660 pounds for the primary motoring offense. The bench ordered the footballer to pay 120 pounds in court costs alongside a mandatory victim surcharge of 264 pounds, creating a combined financial penalty accompanied by the six-month driving disqualification that prohibits him from operating any motorized vehicle on public highways. The cumulative fines imposed by the court reach approximately 7,500 Brazilian reais.
The motoring offense took place two days after the striker publicly announced his departure from Liverpool before finalizing a transfer to Trabzonspor.

Records show Salah incurred a separate driving penalty in 2022 after driving a Ferrari F8 Tributo at 63 miles per hour along a Stockport route limited to 50 miles per hour.
