Sony confirmed the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for October 2026, offering F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 to subscribers. The three titles will be available to download without additional cost from Tuesday, October 6, 2026, until Monday, November 2, 2026.
Subscribers have until Monday, October 5, 2026, to claim the September catalogue titles before they leave the service. That outgoing collection includes four games: Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life, and Chained Echoes.

Participants can navigate the corrupted maps alone or deploy in teams of up to three squadmates to locate bosses, secure bounties, and escape extraction zones. The title matches an 80 aggregate score on Metacritic.
Rounding out the monthly roster is Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, which is the only game in the October collection that includes a native PlayStation 4 version alongside its PlayStation 5 edition. The voxel-based action game earned an 81 score on Metacritic and tasks players with defending a fractured world by assembling squads from collected teammates across the wider franchise. The release supports four-player cooperative play over online networks as well as two-player split-screen gameplay locally on a single console.
