Released in December 2024, the update introduced significant changes, elevating the status of fan-favorites like Satoru Gojo, Sukuna, and Yuji Itadori while sparking heated discussions among enthusiasts.

The Infinite Tier List holds a prestigious place among anime and manga fans, offering an in-depth analysis of individual characters’ capabilities in hypothetical battle scenarios. Beyond raw power, the ranking evaluates tactical intelligence, adaptability, and relevance in specific combat situations. This year’s version also highlighted lesser-known characters, granting them newfound recognition.

Reflecting the latest developments in the manga and revelations from the anime adaptation, the update reignited fan enthusiasm. However, it also stirred controversies regarding the creators’ choices and the criteria used for ranking.

Major reshuffles in the top ranks

Recent events in Jujutsu Kaisen significantly influenced the updated rankings. Satoru Gojo, long considered the undisputed top-ranked character, now shares the pinnacle with Sukuna following their epic encounters during the Shibuya Incident arc. This decision divided the fanbase, with many arguing that Gojo remains unmatched in overall abilities.

Yuji Itadori, the series protagonist, climbed several spots thanks to his growth as a fighter and leader. His increasing mastery of cursed techniques and unyielding determination were pivotal in this advancement. Meanwhile, Megumi Fushiguro retained his upper-tier position, with his shadow technique’s potential continuing to impress analysts.
