Ferrari presented this Monday (27), at the Mugello circuit, in Italy, the F76, its first hypercar developed exclusively for the digital environment. The model, which has no physical version or engine, works as a non-fungible token (NFT) and is only available to 100 members of the Hyperclub program. This initiative integrates the brand’s racing tradition, with recent victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.

The project celebrates the 76th anniversary of Ferrari’s first victory at Le Mans, in 1949, with the 166 MM car. Developed by Centro Stile under the direction of Flavio Manzoni, the F76 explores parametric and biomimetic designs impossible in real productions.

Hyperclub members participated in a customization process over three years, choosing stylistic options in exclusive drops. The acquisition takes place via cryptocurrencies, guaranteeing unique ownership on the blockchain.

Innovative design without physical limits

The F76 adopts a double fuselage architecture, with separate cockpits for driver and passenger, divided by a central air channel that optimizes aerodynamics. This format transforms the vehicle’s body into a single wing, calculated by generative algorithms.

Elements such as retractable headlights, inspired by models from the 1970s and 1980s, and a floating front splitter for maximum ground effect, reference Ferrari’s heritage. The four rear lights integrate a sculptural wing, while vertical fins and side louvres maintain classic features.

The absence of mechanical restrictions allowedinnovations such as topology-optimized thermal management and a dual drive-by-wire cockpit. Both positions offer synchronized controls for a shared driving experience in the virtual environment.

Patents generated in this process can influence future physical models of the brand. Biomimetic design, which imitates organic structures, results in fluid and efficient surfaces.

Collaborative creation process

Hyperclub members have configured their NFTs in progressive stages since 2022. Each drop unlocks aerodynamic options, colors and visual elements, creating unique editions.

This approach democratized customization for a select few, expanding beyond traditional customization programs. Ferrari integrated customer feedback to refine the digital model.

Hyperclub, launched in 2023, supports the 499P prototype in the Endurance World Championship, with victories at Le Mans from 2023 to 2025. The F76 serves as a digital asset in this exclusive ecosystem.

  • Customization in three years with themed drops;
  • Limit of 100 units to maintain rarity;
  • AI integration for virtual performance simulations;
  • Property registered on immutable blockchain.

Connection with Le Mans history

The F76 pays homage to the 1949 victory, driven by Luigi Chinetti and Lord Selsdon in the 166 MM, which also won the Italian Thousand Miles. Seventy-six years later, the digital model reinforces Ferrari’s endurance legacy.

The launch took place during the Finali Mondiali, an annual event at Mugello that brings together customers and drivers. The brand used the moment to highlight its digital strategy, which began with the acceptance of cryptocurrencies in 2023 for physical purchases.

Hyperclub offers privileged access to events such as Casa Ferrari at Le Mans, including mobile villages and interactions with the official team. This tight-knit community fosters loyalty among the biggest supporters.

Ferrari blockchain strategy

The company has expanded its blockchain presence with the 499P Token, which allows bidding in future auctions for the Le Mans-winning prototype. Developed with fintech Conio, the token uses AI for secure authentication.

Since 2023, Ferrari has accepted Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDC in transactions. The F76 represents the extension of this policy to digital collectibles, targeting tech-savvy collectors.

The project has sparked discussions about the value of NFTs in 2025, but the brand emphasizes innovation in design and digital ownership. Each F76 includes patented thermal management and virtual aerodynamics solutions.

The initiative thereFerrari leads hybrid luxury trends, where virtual assets complement physical experiences. Hyperclub plans more drops to enrich its member portfolio.

Exclusive technical features

The F76 incorporates cooling channels integrated into the structure, optimized by topology algorithms. This technique reduces virtual weight and improves airflow in simulations.

The double cockpit allows synchronized steering, with independent but coordinated pedals and steering wheels. AI simulates racing dynamics based on real data from the 499P.

Retractable headlights and vertical fins add aerodynamic functionality. Parametric design adjusts shapes in real time for varying virtual scenarios.

This digital freedom accelerated development, resulting in 12 potential patents. Ferrari plans to apply concepts to future hypercars.
