Consumers may see a decrease of up to 300 yuan, equivalent to approximately 42 US dollars. The measure appears as a strategic response by the technology giant to growing demand and fierce competition in the world’s largest smartphone market.
The new values place the iPhone 17 Pro at 8,699 yuan and the iPhone 17 Pro Max at 9,699 yuan. Tais prices are in line with offers already seen at major sales events, however, they are now applied directly by Apple, both online and in its physical stores in cities like Xangai.

Market analysts attribute this movement of Apple to the continuous need to sustain sales growth in a highly competitive scenario. The promotion aims to boost the volume of units sold, especially given the strong presence of local manufacturers and the dynamics of the Asian market.
Research data reveals that the iPhone 17 Pro Max achieved 58% of the total sales of its previous generation in just 11 weeks in the Chinese market. The base model registered an increase of 56% in the same period, demonstrating the initial acceptance of the new devices and the strength of the brand in the region.
