Final Fantasy XIV gets Evercold expansion announced at Fan Festival 2026

Square Enix presented the next expansion of Final Fantasy XIV during Fan Festival 2026. The chosen title is Evercold. The announcement took place at the event on Anaheim, on Califórnia, and included a teaser trailer lasting around four and a half minutes. The new expansion is scheduled for January 2027. Colaboração with Evangelion arrives as an alliance raid

Além from the main expansion, Square Enix has confirmed a partnership with the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise. The new alliance raid is called Evangelion – Ghosts of Desire. The development included creative contributions from khara, Inc., the studio responsible for the series.
