EA Play adds Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and MySims: Cozy Bundle

Subscribers of EA Play on Xbox now have unlimited access to Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and MySims: Cozy Bundle, according to Microsoft. The companies announced the addition on November 5, 2026, through the Xbox Wire, the Microsoft channel for Xbox news.

Members also get 10% off EA digital purchases, a benefit the Xbox Wire said covers downloadable games, point packs and DLC. The two games can be played through Xbox Cloud Gaming, PC Game Pass or Game Pass Ultimate with EA Play.

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted gets HD remaster and new content

Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted is a remaster of the lane-defense game, with graphics upgraded to HD. According to the Xbox Wire, the update adds new levels, local co-op and PvP modes, classic minigames and new challenges called Cloudy Day and Rest In Peace. The Rest In Peace mode features permadeath. The package also includes concept art and the story of the game.

MySims: Cozy Bundle brings back two retro-style games

MySims: Cozy Bundle groups MySims and MySims Kingdom in retro-style reinterpretations of both games. Players can build and decorate, solve puzzles, discover new lands and help a town and a kingdom prosper. They can also customize their Sims, unlock new ways to create and make friends with a cast of quirky characters. The Xbox Wire presents the bundle as a way to make each world reflect the player’s own style.

Sources disagree on when each game entered The Play List

The Xbox Wire says both games are available on EA Play for Xbox, but the sources do not agree on when each one joined The Play List. The Windows Forum and Gamers Heroes say Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted entered the catalog earlier, as part of the EA Play autumn celebration. Gamers Heroes also said MySims: Cozy Bundle was scheduled to arrive on Xbox and PlayStation on the same day. The Xbox Wire mentions only Xbox, so the redaction does not confirm the PlayStation availability.
