Kenji Ohba, known for classic roles in Japanese science fiction series, passed away on May 6 at the age of 72. Ohba gained international fame when he played Retsu Ichijoji, alter ego of the hero Gavan in “Space Sheriff Gavan”. The series, originally shown in 1982, consolidated his career and his permanent connection with the tokusatsu universe.
