The Swarovski crystal glove used by Michael Jackson during Victory Tour, in 1984, will be auctioned with a minimum bid of 15 thousand pounds, the equivalent of around R$100 thousand. The piece, created by costume designer Bill Whitten especially for Rei of Pop, was part of the costumes from one of the most iconic tours of the group The Jacksons and became one of the artist’s trademarks throughout his career.
Danny Powell, who worked at Victory Tour, is the current owner of the glove. The piece remains well preserved, but shows obvious signs of use: missing crystals, makeup stains left by Michael Jackson himself and small damages to the material.
