Samsung has beta-released the intelligent call screening feature for the Galaxy S25, which had debuted exclusively on the S26 series. The new feature integrates One UI 8.5 and allows an AI assistant to answer calls from unknown numbers, asking for the name and reason for contact. The dialogue appears transcribed on the screen in real time, and the user can intervene at any time or choose to respond via text message.

Recurso arrives after community complaints

Samsung’s initial decision to make the assistant available only for the Galaxy S26 generated intense criticism among S25 owners. Usuários argued that the device, launched less than a year ago, had enough hardware to support the necessary artificial intelligence. Moderadores from Korean communities faced increasing volume of complaints on official forums and social media, prompting the company to review its stance.
