Microsoft has completely restructured Xbox Game Pass, replacing the previous model with three new subscription plans that expand access to games across consoles, computers and mobile devices. The transition occurs automatically for current users, maintaining their benefits and adapting them to the new service levels. The change marks the official exit of cloud streaming technology from its testing phase and consolidates the service as a multiplatform aggregator of digital entertainment.

Essential brings 50 titles with cloud access for R$43.90

The Essential plan works as a gateway for new users and consumers looking for reduced costs. The library includes more than 50 selected games, covering independent productions and big-budget titles with an established track record. Access to the cloud gaming system allows play on compatible smartphones, tablets and smart televisions, eliminating the need for high-end hardware.

An important differentiator is access to online multiplayer, an essential feature for modern competitive and cooperative titles. The package also integrates the rewards system with double points for digital store purchases, encouraging continuous engagement and acquisition of additional content at no extra cost.

Premium unifies console and computer with 200 games

The middle category, called Premium, replaces the old separate console and desktop subscriptions, unifying the experience into a single robust package. Esta option significantly expands the volume of content, providing a library of more than 200 games accessible both locally and via cloud streaming. The focus of this level is on productions with high commercial impact and recent industry successes.

The selection receives frequent updates, incorporating releases from partner studios and keeping classic Microsoft franchises always available. Users also receive exclusive advantages in continuous format games, with a loyalty system that allows them to accumulate points for conversion into digital balance, expansions or subscription renewal.

Ultimate offers 400 titles with day one releases

  • Catálogo with more than 400 games from all generations of consoles and computers.
  • Acesso supports over 75 major annual releases on day one of availability.
  • Benefícios integrated into popular games with season passes and monthly virtual currencies.
  • Acesso to collections of historical franchises from European and North American publishers.

The Ultimate package, sold for R$119.90 per month, represents the service’s most comprehensive offering. The main attraction is the guarantee of immediate access to more than 75 major annual releases on the first day, including productions from Microsoft’s internal studios and large partner conglomerates. Essa policy drastically reduces the individual purchase cost for more engaged players who consume multiple titles simultaneously.

From mid-November, the plan will include direct benefits on extremely popular games, providing season passes and monthly virtual currencies at no additional cost. The expansion also encompasses entire catalogs from third-party publishers, consolidating the service as an aggregator of multiple platforms within a single monthly fee.

Cloud Infraestrutura exits testing with global optimizations

The restructuring marks the official exit of the cloud gaming system from its public testing phase. The global server infrastructure received significant hardware upgrades and network optimization to support the expected increase in data traffic. The objective is to provide high-resolution video transmission with imperceptible command delay, bringing the remote experience closer to that obtained on local physical equipment.

At the Ultimate level, streaming functionality has been expanded to allow remote play of games purchased individually by the user, even if they are not part of the service’s rotating catalog. Essa evolution transforms any internet-connected screen into a high-capacity gaming terminal, representing the central pillar for demographic expansion in emerging markets and among casual consumers who do not wish to invest in high-performance consoles or computers.

Automatic Migração ensures interruption-free continuity

User database administration will migrate old accounts to the new structure automatically on central servers. The algorithm has been programmed to allocate each customer to the service level that offers exact parity or feature superiority over the previous contract. The process takes place behind the scenes of the platform, eliminating any manual intervention, filling out forms or changing payment details, ensuring uninterrupted access to games and network services. Para marks the beginning of the new phase, the catalog of all categories received a simultaneous injection of dozens of new titles, ensuring that all user profiles notice immediate improvements in the entertainment offering.
