Speaking to agency ANI, Kumar Mangat Pathak explained the choice to adapt the project: “When the lockdown started, we watched a lot of films in Malayalam and realized that the content there is very good. Diferentes types of films are being made and appreciated.” Abhishek Pathak confirmed that the Hindi version is scheduled for the second half of 2026.
