Anthony Guidera, actor of ‘The Godfather III’ and ‘Armageddon’, dies at age 65

Anthony Guidera, actor known for his roles in “The Godfather – Part III” and “Armageddon”, has died at the age of 65.

The information was confirmed by the artist’s wife, Valarie Anderson, to TMZ, this Tuesday (9).

Anthony had been on life support since May 11th. At the time, the couple were in the living room of their home in Southern California when the actor passed out and his heart stopped beating. Valarie reported that Anthony was rushed to the hospital. The doctors then turned off the devices last Saturday (6).

The actor was taken home to die a natural death, as he wished. The cause of death, however, is still unknown.

Who was Anthony Guidera

Anthony Guidera began his film career by landing the role of a bodyguard in the third film of “The Godfather” trilogy.

Since then, he played Robbie in the science fiction film “The Experiment” (1995) and received the award for Best Kiss at the MTV Movie Awards alongside his co-star, Natasha Henstridge. Anthony also had smaller roles in films such as “The Rock” (1996) and “The Messenger” (1997).

In addition, Anthony has appeared in several TV series, such as “Renegade”, “Baywatch”, “Angel” and “Star Trek: Deep Space Nine”.
