Big Walk, the multiplayer co-op adventure from the creators of Untitled Goose Game, arrives on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 4th. Panic and House House announced the game’s version for Nintendo’s new console during Nintendo Direct.
The title invites players to explore a vast open world alongside friends. You need to work as a team to overcome challenges, solve puzzles and make discoveries. Communication is highlighted, with tools and toys that help maintain contact, even when words fail.
In addition to adventures, the game reserves space for moments of relaxation. Players can sit back and enjoy the sunset or even play pranks on each other, such as stealing binoculars and throwing them into the ocean. For developers, the main attraction is exactly this coexistence between friends.
Big Walk will also be released for PC, PlayStation 5 and macOS on the same date. The game already has cross-play support and will be available on PS Plus Essential on launch day in some regions.
Trailer reveals gameplay on Switch 2
The official trailer shown at Nintendo Direct shows scenes from the open world, interactions between players and cooperation mechanics adapted to the new hardware. House House, an Australian studio known for the humor and simplicity of Untitled Goose Game, is committed to a relaxed experience, but one that requires coordination.
The announcement confirms that the title, postponed from 2025 to 2026, has received extra polish in narrative and hand-crafted mechanics. Suggested price in the United States is US$19.99.
What changes with the Switch 2 version
The arrival on the Switch 2 allows players to take the experience portable, something that matches the proposal of hiking and group exploration. Unlike exclusively online sessions with random matchmaking, Big Walk prioritizes sessions with invited friends, reinforcing the social aspect.
