Apple announced this Monday (8) iOS 27 during the opening of WWDC 2026. The new operating system promises to open applications up to 30% faster and speed up photo loading by 70%.

In addition to speed gains, the update brings visual refinements to the Liquid Glass interface, with greater adaptability. Users will be able to directly adjust transparency levels across the entire home screen and menus.

iOS 27 has a release date in Brazil

The stable version should reach common users in Brazil between September and December 2026, during spring in the southern hemisphere. The schedule follows Apple’s global pattern, with launch scheduled for autumn in the northern hemisphere.

Developers can now test the preliminary version starting this Monday. The public beta will be released in July through Apple’s official program.

Support for iPhone 11 and older models

iOS 27 will maintain compatibility with iPhones from model 11 onwards. The decision expands the reach of the update to millions of users who do not need to immediately change devices.

With this, owners of previous generations will have access to speed and image processing optimizations.

Liquid Glass allows transparency customization

The big visual new feature of iOS 27 is the improvement of the Liquid Glass interface, which now allows you to directly control the system’s transparency levels.

This change offers greater customization of the home screen and menus, balancing aesthetics and readability according to each user’s preference.

The announcement reinforces Apple’s strategy of delivering practical performance improvements along with artificial intelligence features, such as the evolution of Siri. The new features should be refined over the next few months of beta testing.
