Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi has started the official distribution of a new version of POCO Launcher for devices equipped with the HyperOS system. The installation package, identified by the code RELEASE-6.01.05.2363-05131626, was released a few days after the previous compilation and focuses strictly on behind-the-scenes technical adjustments, without presenting any changes to the graphical interface for the end consumer.

Smartphone owners who have already applied the file confirm that the home screen and navigation buttons maintain exactly the same visual appearance as in the past edition. The Asian company’s decision was to direct all engineering efforts towards internal improvement of the software, seeking to ensure superior fluidity during daily navigation through the device’s menus.

Sending this smaller package highlights the brand’s current tactic of improving essential components in isolation. Instead of withholding important fixes until the release of a heavy operating system file, the company chose to ship quick, specific solutions for native applications, such as the screen manager itself, the security center, the theme store and the user interface.

Technical optimizations applied to the system

The modifications invisible to the public eye include more intelligent management of RAM memory, which reduces the abrupt termination of applications that run in the background and prevents freezing when the user returns to the main screen. The developers also refined the transition animations and applied fixes for intense usage scenarios, eliminating the small stutters that used to occur when opening multiple tools simultaneously.

The previous build, ending in 05131624, had already introduced a redesign of the native search bar and updated the aesthetic standards of the home screen for models in the POCO and Redmi lines. The newly released file takes this established aesthetic foundation and adds an extra layer of stability, ensuring that recent visual changes work without taxing the phone’s processor.

Continuous brand updates strategy

This method of frequent, highly targeted deliveries allows the support team to react quickly to issues reported by the consumer community. The stabilization of the HyperOS ecosystem happens progressively and constantly, eliminating the need to wait months for a large quarterly package to resolve specific usability flaws.

Those interested in testing the improvements immediately can download the installation file through trusted application repositories, while other users will receive notification automatically through the manufacturer’s official distribution channels in the coming weeks.

Preparations for the arrival of HyperOS 4

The fix schedule comes at a time of important transition for the technology giant, which is already structuring the launch of HyperOS 4 with a new visual language based on the concept of liquid glass. For owners of POCO devices, the most drastic change will be the definitive retirement of its exclusive screen manager, which will give way to a unified interface across the company’s catalog, a technical maneuver that aims to reduce the system’s historical fragmentation and bring the fluidity of Chinese software up to par with the standards required by the global high-end market.
