The pre-sale start date for GTA 6, the long-awaited successor to GTA 5, was confirmed for June 25, 2026. Rockstar Games released the information this Thursday (18) through its social platforms, marking the event around five months before the official launch, scheduled for November 19, 2026. Despite expectations, the price of the title has not yet been revealed, driving debates and prognoses about the cost of what is projected to be one of the games most expensive in the history of the industry, considering the history of large launches. This initial revelation shook the gaming community, which had been eagerly awaiting news since the second trailer, released in May 2025.

How the long-awaited pre-sale of GTA 6 will work and where to purchase the game

From June 25th, pre-orders for GTA 6 will be available in a wide range of establishments. This includes both digital stores and online marketplaces and physical points of sale on a global scale, including official console stores, such as the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.

Consumers will also have the option to purchase the game in advance on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon, Kabum and Nuuvem, maintaining the price defined by Rockstar. This acquisition can be made for both the digital and physical versions of the title. However, for those looking exclusively for the digital version, with a focus on download and immediate access on launch day, preference for Sony and Microsoft platforms is advisable. These stores offer greater transaction security and simplify the game installation process, minimizing the risk of fraud from unverified sellers.
