Renowned Emmy-winning actor Stanley Tucci and his wife, Felicity Blunt, joined the royal party in the procession during the third day of the prestigious Royal Ascot event, surprising royal watchers and fans.
This was not the couple’s first interaction with the British monarchy. In February 2025, King Charles had hosted the “Tucci in Italy” host and his wife at Highgrove House for a special dinner, celebrating the principles of the Slow Food and Slow Fashion movements, which promote conscious consumption and ethical production.
Fans of the monarchy identified a prominent public figure among the horse-drawn carriages parading at Royal Ascot on June 18, 2026. The main procession, led by King Charles, 77, and Queen Camilla, 78, was made up of four carriages carrying members of the royal family and their distinguished guests.
Among the personalities present at Ascot Racecourse on the same date were Princess Anne, Prince Edward, Duchess Sophie and Zara Tindall. In the fourth carriage, to the surprise of many, were the famous actor Stanley Tucci, 65, and his wife, Felicity Blunt, 45.
The Hollywood couple paraded alongside Lord and Lady Cavendish, longtime friends of the British royal family, sharing the same vehicle in the solemn procession.
Stanley Tucci and Felicity Blunt’s impeccable style
The guests of honor displayed exquisite attire for the occasion. Waving his top hat at the photographers’ lenses, Tucci looked impeccable in a well-tailored suit over a white button-down shirt and a light gray vest. He accessorized the look with a matching polka dot tie, dark sunglasses and a series of beaded bracelets.
Felicity Blunt, a renowned literary agent and former lawyer, displayed an equally sophisticated style. She was wearing a white dress with a high collar, adorned with a colorful floral print on the neckline and sleeves. Blunt’s dress also featured ruched details at the shoulders, which harmonized with the delicacy and elegance of her sculptural sun hat.
Strengthening ties with British royalty
The couple’s interactions with royalty are not limited to Royal Ascot. In February 2025, King Charles and Queen Camilla welcomed them to Highgrove House for a dinner celebrating the Slow Food and Slow Fashion movements, whose aim is to promote conscious consumption and production that respects environmental sustainability and labor ethics.
Before that, in January, Stanley Tucci attended the premiere of King Charles’ documentary, “Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision,” which took place at historic Windsor Castle. Later, in March, Felicity Blunt and Tucci participated in another meeting with members of the royal family, this time at a reception held in the Queen’s Reading Room, at Clarence House.
The royal procession at Royal Ascot has played host to many other celebrities over the years. Figures such as Dame Helen Mirren, who attended in 2008 and 2018, David Beckham in 2018, Demi Moore in 2019 and 2023, and Elizabeth Hurley in 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2024, have already brightened the event with their presence in previous editions.
