Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. has confirmed the arrival of new elements to the exclusively online game “Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation 2”, available for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and Steam®. From June 25, 2026, the iconic “Double O Riser” and “Susanoo”, directly from the “Mobile Suit Gundam 00” series, will be introduced into the title.
Fans of the Gundam universe can expect the gradual release of these powerful mobile suits, which will be accessible for two consecutive weeks in the game after the update scheduled for 2pm next Thursday. This addition represents a significant reinforcement to the cast of playable units.
Simultaneously with the arrival of the new costumes, starting June 25th, special packs will be released for players: the “Sumeragi Token Pack” and the “Mr. Bushido Token Pack”. Additionally, the PlayStation® version will celebrate the “8th Anniversary Pre-Anniversary Festival”, marking a series of events for the community.
To celebrate the integration of the new mobile suits, a special promotional video was released. It features narration by Mamoru Miyano, who voices Setsuna F. Seiei, and Yuichi Nakamura, the voice of Mr. Bushido, central figures in the plot of “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”, raising players’ expectations.

Classic Mobile Suit Gundam 00 Characters Join the Battle
Starting with the update on Thursday, June 25th at 2pm, “Double O Riser” will be officially incorporated into “Battle Operation 2”. This general-purpose mobile suit, costing 700 and rated ★4, will be available for combat in both land and space environments. The “Double O Riser” is notable for being a fusion of the 00 Gundam and the O Riser, maximizing its potential and representing one of the series’ high points.
Next, the update on Thursday, July 2nd, also at 2pm, will bring “Susanoo” into battle. Classified as a ground/space assault unit, it also has a cost of 700 and a rating of ★4. The “Susanoo”, piloted by the enigmatic Mr. Bushido, is renowned for its elegant design and agile combat abilities.
Both mobile suits, “Double O Riser” and “Susanoo”, will be released simultaneously on the PlayStation® and Steam® versions, ensuring that players on both platforms can enjoy the new features at the same time.
To celebrate the introduction of each of these mobile costumes, Bandai Namco has released a special video. The production uses scenes from the anime and the theme song “TRANS-AM RAISER”, showing “Double O Riser” and “Susanoo” in action in the battle scenarios of “Battle Operation 2”.
