The long-awaited new version of One Piece, titled The One Piece, had its first teaser officially revealed. The promotional material, produced by renowned WIT Studio, features an engaging narrative and enhanced visual aesthetic, raising fan expectations.

The streaming platform Netflix was responsible for releasing the video, confirming that the series will be available exclusively in its catalog. The teaser provides a brief look at iconic figures from the saga, including Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, Roronoa Zoro and Shanks.

The production of the remake is under the responsibility of WIT Studio, acclaimed for works such as the anime Spy X Family. Although some images and posters of the adaptation had already been released previously, it was only this year that the project presented substantial news, such as the expected release date of February 2027.

The One Piece production team dedicated months to in-depth study of the artistic style of Eiichiro Oda, the series’ original creator. This meticulous effort aimed to ensure unprecedented visual fidelity and a high level of quality for the new animation, as stated by members of the studio.

One of the main proposals of The One Piece is to improve the original version of the anime, initially produced by Toei Animation and released in 1999. The remake will seek to eliminate so-called ‘fillers’ (additional content not present in the manga) and present a smaller number of episodes. The first season, for example, will focus entirely on the Alabasta arc and will consist of just seven chapters.
