Brazilian consumers have become accustomed to frequent changes in the prices of Apple products. However, this time, this reality of increase also extends to customers in the United States and several other nations.

The Californian company announced a series of adjustments to its Mac computer family, including the recent launch MacBook Neo. The justification for the new figures lies in the significant increase in the costs of memory and storage chips. Industry experts indicate that the crisis in the memory market could last until 2028, explaining the pressure on prices. Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, had previously admitted that the company would face such increases due to this situation.

An Apple spokesperson told the press that the company had never seen such a rapid and sharp increase in the value of a component. He explained that, although the company has made efforts to protect consumers from these impacts, it has reached a point where the pass-through of increases has become inevitable for several products, including those recently announced.
