The news of his death was spread by colleagues in the dubbing field, who expressed their regret on social media over the loss. Among the demonstrations, Tânia Gaidarji stood out, who voices the character Bulma in Dragon Ball, who recalled her last meeting with her friend a few days before his death.

“My great friend Figueira Júnior left us. He came to visit me several times at the Heart Institute and we took these photos on Thursday last week, the day before my surgery. He was giving me strength and calming me down. And he was happy and hopeful because he was taking a new medication, also for his heart. That day, by coincidence, he went with the Android 17 t-shirt and I was wearing Bulma’s t-shirt. Why didn’t I give him the Seeds of the Gods?” wrote Gaidarji in his emotional message.

Additionally, Fátima Noya also used digital platforms to publish a farewell message, honoring the memory of her co-worker.
