Pringles launches hot dog buns with exclusive potato chip flavors for sale online
The typical North American summer celebrations continue in full swing, even after the 4th of July holiday. With graduation parties, meetings to follow the World Cup and the approach of Labor Day, barbecues and community lunches continue to be on the rise, keeping social events busy.
Recently, the market has seen a wave of launches in sausage and sausage varieties, such as Ball Park’s jalapeño beef options and Nathan’s 100% grass-fed options. However, while the sausage offering expands, the hot dog bun section has shown few new developments over the years, lacking significant innovations.

Generally, consumers find traditional choices such as white bread, potato or brioche bread on the shelves. However, this limited range of options is about to change drastically, with an unexpected twist. Pringles, known for its creativity, announced the arrival of three new hot dog buns, promising to add an unprecedented dimension of flavor.
Pringles surprises the market with Pop Dog bread in new formats
Pringles has a history of being bold in experimenting with different flavors, having ventured into Loaded Hot Dog snacks and a partnership with Miller Lite Beer Brat. Now, the brand is expanding its portfolio with innovative hot dog buns, directly inspired by some of its most popular potatoes.
Named Pringles Pop Dog Buns, the new buns are made from potatoes and designed to fit perfectly into the iconic Pringles cans, measuring 19 centimeters in length. This dimension makes them a little longer than conventional loaves, which are generally 15 centimeters, but shorter than jumbo versions, at 20 centimeters.

The breads come infused with three flavors reminiscent of Pringles classics: Sour Cream & Onion (sour cream and onion), BBQ (barbecue) and Honey Mustard (mustard and honey). These incorporated aromas promise to give the hot dog an irresistible taste, even before adding any condiment or side dish.
The Pop Dog Buns versions in Sour Cream and Onion, Barbecue and Mustard and Honey flavors will be sold in special limited edition Pringles cans. Despite the brand’s characteristic packaging, these breads will not be available for sale in supermarkets or other physical stores.
The purchase of Pringles Pop Dog Buns will be made exclusively online, free of charge, with the purchase of a pack of three cans of Pringles potatoes. Offers will be released at 2pm ET on July 8th and 15th (National Hot Dog Day). By purchasing a pack of Pringles chips with Sour Cream and Onion, Mustard and Honey and Barbecue flavors for US$6.97 on OnceYouPopMarket.com or at Pringles stores on Instagram and Facebook, consumers will receive the breads, while supplies last.
