Brook Gaming’s Sniper 2 adapter brings PC keyboard and mouse to all consoles

Brook Gaming, a renowned Taiwanese brand in the peripherals segment, has revealed an innovative new product that promises to transform the gaming experience for millions of users. Sniper 2, a cutting-edge keyboard and mouse adapter, was officially unveiled at Taipei Game Show 2026, which took place on Thursday, July 9, 2026. This device allows console gamers to utilize their favorite PC peripherals across a wide range of platforms, eliminating barriers between gaming ecosystems.

Bridging the gap between PC precision and console versatility

The main objective of Sniper 2 is to solve an old challenge for many players: the transition between the PC keyboard and mouse (KBM) and console controls. For enthusiasts of titles like shooters (FPS) or action RPGs, the precision and familiarity offered by KBM are crucial. With this adapter, Brook Gaming guarantees a plug-and-play experience, allowing gamers to enjoy their console games with the same level of control and agility as they would on a computer. This means that it is no longer necessary to invest in specific and often expensive peripherals for each console, democratizing access to high-performance controls.

Universal compatibility and advanced features for gamers

Versatility is one of the pillars of Sniper 2. The adapter offers comprehensive compatibility with the main platforms on the market and mobile devices. It works perfectly with consoles such as PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, as well as PCs and cell phones and tablets that run iOS and Android systems. This ability to connect to virtually any platform ensures that the investment in Sniper 2 is long-term, adapting to the needs of players in different environments.

Price and impact on the gaming accessories market

The Brook Gaming Sniper 2 has a suggested retail price of 3,000 yuan, and is expected to launch in Taiwan. While the price may represent a significant investment for some consumers, the promise of universal compatibility and the ability to use existing PC peripherals may justify the cost for gamers looking for an ultimate solution. This launch highlights a growing trend in the gaming market where flexibility and customization of input methods are becoming increasingly valued, driving innovation in adapters and other accessories that bridge gaps between different hardware platforms. Sniper 2, by enabling such fluid integration, positions itself as an enabler for the convergence between console and PC gaming experiences.
